ANALYSIS
° A literary genre is a category of literary composition

Contextual Analysis
° Using sociocultural context, it can be concluded that the story/anecdote is all about how they lived in abroad and what they experiences while they are working far away from their families.
° Even they are far from their families they always remembering them through balikbayan boxes during special holidays and occasions.
° Through the balikbayan boxes, we can say that being far from the families are nor hindrance to show our love and care for them.



SUMMARY
° The story “Turban Lengend” entails the Filipino OFW’ experiences while they are working far away from their families.
° The life of being an OFW.
° Experience homesickness and sometimes they feels lack of love and care due to missing their family and love ones.
° Not all Filipino’s overseas wanted to work abroad, the reason why they work abroad is due to poverty and insufficient money for the needs of their family.
